About Retirement Learning Center
For over two decades, RLC has been the retirement services industry’s go-to resource for outsourced ERISA consulting, thought leadership and exceptional strategies.
Founded by John Carl in 2003, Retirement Learning Center is his legacy. Carl was known as “the advisor to the advisors” until his untimely passing in 2022. His entrepreneurial spirit saw a need for practical and tactical financial advisor training in the retirement space, driving him to establish the Retirement Learning Center in 2003. Decades later, RLC continues John’s mission to provide support and thought leadership to the advisor community.
Driven to continue RLC’s purpose, cash balance plan consulting firm October Three (O3) acquired RLC in May 2023 and decided to maintain the RLC brand.
With O3’s technological prowess, consulting expertise and RLC’s incredible educational resources, we serve the advisor community with more excellence and passion than ever.
